Bitter sweet Lover

Bitter sweet Lover

A Poem by Mina
"

This poem is about a woman who suffers erotomania(a type of delusion in which the person believes that another person usually a stranger, higher rank person is in love with him or her)

"
a lone with an unproclaimed some one,
I called him a wise charmer,
He called me a bitter sweet lover,
half tamed he clutches ,

Skeptical young man,
Never distanced always near,
I brewed his futile captive heart,
with a key so rare,

So sleek I still paint him,
While he worships my blare,
So still he stands,
Ready to succumb my stare,

I am glad that you attended school properly.
hmmm.. is she a siren? since their songs can often blare.. Honestly I am stumped as to what she is and what has happened to him at the end.. turned to stone? wrapped in a cocoon? is she a black widow spider? Anyway.. good poem without knowing all those details.

Aha! The narrator is the Medusa and he has turned the young man to stone!... Of course, there is no mention of the characteristics of a Medusa, but that's all I can think about. Am I close?

BTW, this is an intriguing poem with skill and wit. Love it!
