Choosers

Choosers

A Poem by Theetranquilpearl
"

We struggle to find people who will accept us for who we are.

"
We all beg somewhere
We feel a necessity to be accepted  for someone to understand us
We are hungry for validation
We need to know if we belong
I mean what is the shape of water when the container bursts?
We would rather kiss the feet of someone who makes us feel hollow
Someone who makes us feel like we don't contain
You don't contain enough water
We do this because that person has the final say
On how much you should be filled up
You're leaking
You are half full
We do not choose people who believe we flow like the ocean
Or people who make us feel like unending waterfalls
Because beggars can't be choosers

I don't know but at my case .I am quite introvert so actually people choose me . All my friends i meet usually by accident then some desire to belong somewhere . Just my thoughts on the subject .
