It Only Exists In My Head

It Only Exists In My Head

A Poem by Amie Rose

Lockers line the corridor,

All the same deep blue,

Then everything blurs around us,

And it's just me and him.

His emerald green eyes,

Twinkle as I stare into them,

Such a mystery.

His blond hair flops over his tanned face,

Covering his right cheek,

His yellow shirt sleeve slightly rolled  over his blazer,

He got closer.

He winked in my direction,

And my cheeks blushed red,

He leaned his right arm on the locker,

I gaze into his eyes once again.

His lips are falling and those eyes close,

Those beautiful lips meet mine and sparks fly,

But then reality sets back in,

He walks straight past me.

That one and only kiss,

Gone forever,

But then again,

It only exists in my head.

So sad. While reading it I felt almost as if I were with you. The last line ended it, and I came back to reality.
