The Sun and I.

The Sun and I.

A Poem by Amen_Poppies
"

Life without it would be...

"
The sun gives me life, like a poppy in bloom.
I'm not speaking litterally but innerally...
What would happen to my soul?
If, it was deprived of its love...
I truly would be at a loss.
You see, its everything to me.
Its the shine in the sky and on my skin,
Its the light in the morning,
Its the warmth in my hair,
Its the light in my life.
Truly and litterally we wouldn't survive.
But, if that wasn't the case...
How many of us could go on?
The absence of it in my life...
Would be devistating.
You see, there would be nothing.
No light, to see faces,
To see smiles,
to see anger,
to see joy!
To see anything that has ever...
Driven us to write,
Driven us to love,
Driven us to hate,
Driven us to see cleary would be gone.
Anything that has driven me to express myself would be invisible in a pulse-less world.

In my experience the things I write mean different things to different people. When I feel inspired to write, it all comes out really fast. It's like a train of thought. It's really personal. I think .. more..
