This is just a little something I always tell myself. I do not know if it is copied from anywhere, as I do not typically search for inspirational quotes online or anything.

I believe these words to be 100% true, so I am sure you can find them somewhere else on the internet as well. I simply wanted to post them here so I could remind everyone of how lucky they are to be alive. There are many people who do not get to wake up. Just be thankful for what you have.

It is true but we shouldn't allow someone elses misfortunes to make our own lives feel better. Everyone deserves to smile because we all deserve to be happy feel satisfied. We should be doing everything in our power to achieve that, not just settle for an existence that is slightly less crappy than someone elses.

Precisely. But we should be happy with what we have. Not sad because of what we do not. I am simply tired of people complaining about their work shifts when there are people who are deployed overseas. Or the people who complain that they have to get up early when there are people who do not get that opportunity. Or even the people who say that school is lame and a waste of time, when there are people in third world countries, and first world countries as well, who want to be educated but do not have the resources to do so. That is all I meant by this. Be happy with what you have and always smile.

You're right, people are ungrateful and complain about next to nothing, it's probably because they don't know what the underlying problem is I.e. they were never raised right in the first place. But if you're getting reemed when you don't deserve it you have a duty to make a sound unless you want to keep getting fucked over your entire existence.
