Bygone Heaven

Bygone Heaven

A Poem by Amelia
"

the situation in valley are going worst with every passing day........i dont want to enter politics...i dont know what is right but i know that this is not right..........

"

Secure as May’s new Tulip blossom,

Rivers crawling like snakes,

Green as fresh spring’s sprouts,

Stealing every season’s color,

Hidden from the sorrows of the world.

Under the azure sky,

There resides a heaven,

There stands a heaven.

A place where colorful birds fly,

Like fishes dive under the glacier water Lakes

Those are surrounded by flamboyant mountains

That bloom with beautiful flowers

And drop with red fruits.

Under the azure sky,

There resides a heaven,

There stands a heaven.

I rub hard my eyes,

To insure this isn’t a dream,

But then I see the reality,

Oh! That was surely a dream,

A big dream....

Under the azure sky,

There was residing a heaven,

There fell a heaven.

Black clouds overtook the sky,

Heavy winds uprooted each joy,

I mistook the red blood to be the sweet apple,

But that was the sour fruit,

Fruit of every justice, unjustified.

Under the azure sky,

There was residing a heaven,

There fell a heaven.

Every crime washed away by blood,

Every voice suppressed by power,

Few righteous left to struggle,

Every tear left to dry,

Each wound still unhealed.

Under the azure sky,

There was residing a heaven,

There fell a heaven.

But they won’t give up,

Because they believe to struggle for their rights,

As strugglers, not terrorists,

They believe, they believe in dreams,

Believe to fulfill their dreams.

Under the azure sky,

There will reside a heaven,

There surely will stand a heaven......
