The morning sun shines on my face,
I open my eyes mumbling your name,
I let out a sigh on another morning again,
Why are these feelings so strong?
I guess my heart is the one at blame,
You have taken over my heart and brain,

Thinking of you through the day,
Dreaming of you through the night,
Maybe it's because you are out of my sight,
These thoughts I'm unable to fight,
Your name, it's always in my mind,

Your face comes in front of my eyes,
That smile of yours is like a light,
The memories haunt me from time to time,
You were the light that illuminated my dark,
You left a very deep deep mark,

A part of my heart hopes this mark never disappears,
Oh your presence, it's filling me up,
Wanting you by my side always,
My heart is yours to stay,
You are always on my mind.
