White Raven

White Raven

A Poem by Amduscia

The howling winds stood in awe, as through the icy winds, a White Raven tore...

Plumed in silvery-white feathers it soared, as though it were a mythical creature of some Fairy Tale lore...

It's ravenous talons per foot were four...

Swooping in and out through Heavens door...

It's curved golden beak and dazzling eyes, shone...

It's brightness and ethereal beauty surpassed only by the Heavenly One...

Its tail feathers, white and grey, Pearled bright in magnificent glory, left the World looking dark and hoary...

It's flight was framed in a brilliant light, as it breezed through the mysterious night...

Onwards it flew, beneath the Moons glazed gaze, through a mystical haze...

Framed amidst the midnight dome, these nightly skies and stars its home. Gracefully it would comb its way through the cosmos, as a classic Poem...

As a magical wish, it wisps its way as a smoky kiss, through the hallways of galactic mist...

When the eye has its beauty missed, may it rest in peace in its Heavenly cist...
