A Hearts Betrayal

A Hearts Betrayal

A Poem by Amduscia

Blackened betrayal inked and etched deep..

My tender love to harvest and reap..

My joy, betrayal tortured to keep..

My hope lies ashened in a sorrowful heap..

My heart left in the dark to weep..

No bright star in My black sky..

No Spirit willing to live nor die..

Only sordid tears to drip, cry, and dry..

Heartache and pain elevated so high..

Cupid's arrows were coated in a shiny lie of divers kind..

And dipped in poison of a fatal kind..

No longer can I this bitterness and pain hide..

Nor My hatred deny..

Until I this hurt do bind..

Until I My joys do find..

Until I leave these sorrows behind..

Until I smite Beloved Cupid, blind..

With an arrow of His Own kind..

The ending again was amazing, how do you come up with such great endings?
I loved the whole piece.
Heartfelt and very sad write.
Heartbreak is hard, but I hope you are pulling through it.
Again your rhyming is really flawless, and amazing!
keep writing, you are talented.

Revenge on Cupid might curse you forever without love. Careful!
