Aeolian Harp

Aeolian Harp

A Poem by Amduscia

As an Adze, so Thou art My protection, as I hover beneath Thy Aegis, Thou art the Shield of Zeus and Athene.
Wind-borne art Thy songs sung for Aeons on end unto Aeolus upon Thy Harps of Air.
A gaseous existence Thou art, yet Thy existence echo's throughout the aerated waters of Our Souls, as an aerial attack of Radio Waves of expert feats.
Assign unto Us Thy cause, or make the study of Thy causation Our cause.
As a system of minute particles suspended in gas, mystified, We gaze upon Thy Science of Art, Thy aerial navigation, heavier-than-air.
Thy wings mechanically driven as a device spraying fine substances packed under pressure, beautiful in Art, yet tortuous unto Earth's atmosphere and outer Space, like an Affair of Honour.
Affecting the Aesthete, affecting Ignorance, affecting Metals. Thy flight an affecting Sermon, airy in costume and style, forever Promised in Marriage unto the Aeolian Harp.

I love the words you used in this poem. Mythology is awesome when used correctly in poetry. Good job! :)
