DepthA Chapter by papermush0802-03-'16While love doesn’t hurt You can breathe on the shore, and
even run friskily As each wind tickles you with
safety Your smile emulates the sunbeams You’d ask for more days to be as
wild and cheerful But while love is love The water gets high The next thing you know, the tides
won’t let you go And no one sees your flailing
hands, Worse when the storms get invited But while love does hurt And the one you love remains your
greatest love You can breathe underwater Because since when did real love Ever become so shallow? © 2016 papermush08 |
