Silent Melody

Silent Melody

A Poem by papermush08
"

Heart meets music

"
Here, where the world is bustled

and the noise is the only thing sold

I sat in a muffled corner

Where nothing makes me feel better

But the tune from my brain

Hoping these thoughts won't wane

Musical whispers cradling me

A special piece played for free

I can almost hear myself

As an old book coming out of the shelf

I can sing more than that I did when I had no reason

Now in my renewed voice,

You're the passion
