Vanishing Rendezvous

Vanishing Rendezvous

A Poem by papermush08
"

Wrote this in 2012;originally a murder of love with a dark title but I was and I am not yet inspired to reach the scene of killing L O L!

"
The ripe horizon waved to daylight

Birds fled , left a cue of transcending night

In the void balcony I stood like a princess

Lurking for my knight though I had begun my distress

Sang the words he played for me on his piano

When we swore to the stars there'd be no letting go

As days in our hands were taste of lemonade

Now my genuine cherry smile's doomed to fade

There's only pretense so poignant I hold

To keep him still though my body he made cold

Dainty flowers withered, smelled death in scent

Winter days burned my heart, in solitude it went
