Loner LoverA Poem by papermush08She has her heart reaching out for both the impossible and the possible.Sweet little light knocks on my window Up in the night I find your face, your one bright, outstanding shadow Waning in sight, but sadness in grace My bare hands begin to pluck you from my dangling thoughts in the air The moment then picks the cue, my heart follows you anywhere I write a letter on a star to another Though you don't live under my sky If my possibilities succumb to shatter At least those stars don't die Loneliness must be discouraging and life is not always a rose garden but most times you emerge in my longing, a dreamy sun ray to veil my burden I grapple with days painting me blue Sometimes I wish I was someone else But it'd be unfortunate, not loving someone that's you © 2014 papermush08Author's Note
