Calling the Rain

Calling the Rain

A Poem by papermush08
"

I need rainy days right now the way I always need it but maybe with a lot different scenario now

"

Dear skies in dull hue

Do you miss me too?

I guess I’ve been in exhaustion

Not the sunbeams could heal my emotion

Maybe I need you for a drug

Like a little girl’s plea for a mother’s hug

Fall now, fall into my pavement

Come wash my detriment

You feel me the way I possess you

I’m at ease when I repose to be blue

So I keep waiting, I stay hoping

For you to start falling

Please fall, please fall, please fall

I desperately call

I do like the above lines. Sometime a needed hug can change our view on life and hope. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
