Barricades

Barricades

A Poem by papermush08
"

There's nothing she can do.

"

I stare at nothing, wishful for something
A leap of imagination, brief in action
Wallowing in sadness, my perpetual madness
Here's to you and to what I couldn't do

This is real, but not the world can feel
Since I'm unconventional,absurdly rational
My mind's a river, a path of forever
But faith's in heart,I cannot depart

You're out of tune,a steady face of the moon
A clandestine sound of falling on the ground
I've got a voice that holds no choice
Words to rescue are always blue

I see a tear though your pretense is clear
And a crooked smile traveling mile to mile
Sunset's in your eyes as another day dies
Brings forth your peace, when feeling is amiss

My feet are free yet life's in contrary
Fairytale is fake,sanity's at stake
Even if I dream, reality is grim
What can I say? There's never a way
