Melancholic Misfortune

It's getting a bleak ride, it's driving to the downside

Harsh truth, sad fact

 

Not a single real smile

No promises are intact

Weak faith in love

Heaven's sound in mute

Suppressed to look above

When hope's defied by shame

My soul runs no glory

I commit and admit to be lame

As melody plays in rust

Fading sweetness of the background

In dimmed fate is a must

For sympathy is held by ego 

Sole detriment consumes sanity

On my own is forever my woe
