Self made paths

Self made paths

A Poem by Amber

I hope you find your way

I hope you get to where you need to be

That from your self made path you never stray

But appreciating that journey is key

I hope you don’t regret the destination

I hope that after laying all the foundation

You aren’t filled with overwhelming temptation

To simply uproot and start another migration

For self made paths are minacious and rocky

Forever twisting and turning through uncharted territory

Making getting lost an easy story

So what you once thought was transitory

leaves you in your own self made purgatory

Its a nice poem. It speaks the truth. Afterall, this is what life is, making our own paths to reach our destination. However, I feel, a bit of punctuations were needed.
