My Final Farewell

My Final Farewell

A Poem by Amber V. Black

At my funeral

will you leave me flowers?

Will you be able to say something good about me?

About my life,

and how i have lived it?

Or will you walk away?

Without utterig a word,

silent.

At my funeral,

Who will come?

Who will care?

Who has been fooling me?

Who will cry?

And who will stay strong?

Will my life be wasted away?

I am surley not a memorable person.

At my casket,

Who will say goodbye first?

When i'm stuck in the ground,

so cold,

so lonley;

who will visit me?

And who will be,

my final farewell?

awwww .... but the only thing that will be missing at your funeral is your presence ... I imagine from what i have read you will be off bouncing in a new reality ..

I care not about my funeral I care much more about remembering how to live in this precious life ...
