Talking to Myself

Talking to Myself

A Poem by Amberlilies
"

I challenge myself to write something everyday. Today I wasn't feeling inspired so I asked myself what I was feeling. The rest typed itself. Hope you enjoy!

"
What am I feeling? A strange question to ponder.
Yet too often we ignore, the true nature of our soul.

To neglect nature’s thirst and quench that of another,
lends reasons for my spirit to be riddled through with holes.

So, I turn my eyes backwards to catch glimpses of my mind.
Hoping sparks of inspiration will shed light on vibes unknown.

What am I feeling? Why’s it hard to answer?
Maybe I don’t feel so that others may control...

The inward conversation, talking with yourself. We do it so often. You've catched it very well with your poem. Beautiful poetry. :) Rudi

Thank you, Amberlilies. :) Rudi
A okay title. Many strong statements in the poem could of been the title. Deep thoughts can lead us to places of confusion. Sometime we land in the wrong place and need a proper escape. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

Writing is a way for me to figure out what is on my mind. I don't care what form it comes out in or even if there is no form at all. Hell, it doesn't even have to make sense or follow standard grammat.. more..
