If she didn't have something
To worry about
She wouldn't know what to do
Always hurting, always crying
Always feeling blue
Lady sitting in her own heart
She doesn't know herself
And when she comes out again
When she's numbed from thr pain
They all shout "here comes Lady Blues!".
My Lady Blues
She stands in my shadow
Waiting for my loneliness to call
And with a sweep of her cloak
My rain tears will soak
The front of my dress
Someone's shoulder, the floor
Will anybody answer?
Who's knocking at my heart's door?
I have no time to play, lady
But she isn't listening anymore
She screams, I'm crying
She tells me I'm lying
Crash, there goes the bedroom door.
She laughs, I'm still crying
She tells me I'm lying
To myself.

When a woman, is Lady Blue. She is seeking ending and maybe new beginning. Internal voice, always whispering to us. Thank you Amber for sharing the amazing poetry.

Thank you, Coyote. Written at a tempestuous time in my life.
When I write, I picture. That being said, I love reading vivid pieces like this that come to life (if only in my crazy head) as I'm reading. It's a plus if they reveal glimpses of a heart and/or soul worth your time.
Amber has talent worth our time, folks.
Thanks for sharing this 100/100

I'm not an experienced writer but I seem able to string some lines together which seem to result in some assemblance of a poem. I feel a need to write and my inspiration comes from various sources but.. more..
