PROMISE

 

You promised not to hurt me

Well you just did

I thought you were different

You’re worst than them instead

 

I should have kept me guarded

Should have kept my cool

I should have kept my mouth shut

How did I ever come to be a fool?

 

Now my tears have fallen

Tears as leaden as stones

Remember that a woman’s heartache

Author's Note

I think I was hurt when I wrote this? Little by little I'm gaining little confidence on some people. Too much. Or too little. I hate the feeling of being promised something only to see it before my eyes; broken. Sana hindi ka nalang nangako. NAKAKAASAR ka.

Anyway, thank you to everyone who will take the time to read and review this writing that may seem out of sense or nonsense at all. I'm so loss for words. :'(

Hmm... I see ! Sometimes Promises really broken.. naranasan ko na rin yan hindi sa love pero sa kaibigan.. that's the reason why I hate world when i was young... pero narealize ko rin minsan pag nag-eexpect talaga! nadadala yung emotions.. anyway this great little bit cried when i read this.. but a advice for you.. "Whatever happens be happy and true to yourself.." siguro wala man aq karapatan magsabi yan pero yan lang naiisip ko ;) kasi lam ko rin ang nararansan mo sa poem ito.. thanks for sharing :)
