You HaveA Poem by Amata LunaYou have had everything, but never enoughYou Have You have always heard the mocking You have always felt the pain You have always heard the mourning Always touched those things in vain
You have always had the king dear You have always had a thing You have always had love so near And sorrow just a fling
You have always had the sun shine You have always had the rain You have always had the word “mine” And what has left you sane
You have always had the heartache You have always had the game You have always had what at stake And that which made you lame
You have always had the talent You have always had disgrace You have always had the love lent It left you out of space
You have always had the skies blue You have always had the stars You have always what they called “doubt” And those are scars you knew
You have always had but not enough You have been but not for long You have it all but never grown Instead you’re all; you’re left alone
