A FlowerA Poem by Amata LunaYou are a flower
You are a flower
Soft and beautiful Delicate and wonderful You are one look splendid You are of God's good deed You are a flower Strong among the people Colorful and cheerful You're the life everyone would have in full You are one of those who cares You are a flower That we may choose in freedom Among the hundreds, hundreds of blooms But still behind them, we'd be ashore That is was like "The Cataract of Lodore" You are a flower Shy and beautiful Timid-like yet not bashful Smiling and demure So perfect and pure On your petals a long time the wind is blowing It never even wavered to cease on growing You are romantic as that of a sweet rose blooming Your love is scented with concern and prose That laughter means sweetness of one that's grown You love us in full That we may not be divided You love us in full We may see we're appreciated You love us in full You don't take us for granted You might be a flower But stronger than we had ever imagined © 2012 Amata LunaAuthor's Note
