A Change of Heart

A song I wrote about one of my characters. Enjoy. :)

Silent years torment full and,
life unforgiven
time been eaten away...
I am mistaken withered away with
fire building so high up inside

A wish to repose
forever...
A hope to live again never...
Not ever again...

Years gone by built the anger inside
of me
Those times I wish not to relive again
Time flew by built the fire within
my eyes
Those years in hopes won't revive to deem
my remorseful end...

I look to the sky and see
no stars...
The clouds having engrossed the moon
reveal...
The graceful light to my life
and I am
given a gift...
An angel to better my sorrows...
And now a life I am given again...

Now fighting the demons that threaten
my life
I protect the ones I hold dear to me
As long as I have this family given
to me
I will live happily forever more
thanks to the angel who gifted me
with a change of heart...
