Ocean Breath

Ocean Breath

A Poem by A.marie.speaks

I finally get what is meant
by Ocean Breath
I thought is was merely
a comparison to the sound -
how it mirrors the sound of the waves..
but as I meditate
I see the Ocean's ebb and flow
matched in the cyclic flow of my own breath
the way the waves are sucked back in
swirl around deep within
and sweep back out again onto the sand
I now understand
 the Ocean's waves
are our Planet's breaths

Nice work as always!
