Contradictory loveA Poem by A.marie.speaks
The moments we drive each other mad
Multiply Stubborn fits deny comprise In your eyes I know I've won No matter right or wrong The song we sing In unison Could bring a stone man down Anxiety consumes my brain In a way Only you can calm Your strong stare resurrects me No one would suspect we Could burn together so long Irrational and detached Within my voice I snap you back An army may attack But I stand up alone You may only be a man But understand I live inside your smile I'll die on your last breath You walk beside my miles You carry my happiness © 2015 A.marie.speaksReviews
