an activist

by nature

he was never one you'd mistake for

senseless

always devising an escape for

the helpless

tiny bits of kindness

tiny bits of knowledge

he fed it to them slowly

forcing them to notice

the world can be a better place

If you take the Time

to open your Mind

and Shake the Mask from over your Eyes

STOP GOBBLING UP ALL THESE CORPORATE MEDIA LIES

but every time,

he's shot down at this line

by this time

he's found

to be worse than a "commie"

immediately

they see him as a conspiracy

theorist..

so in the midst

of a 5 AM traffic jam

there he stands-

can in hand

One Man - One Demand

he sprays the words

to change His world

in one tiny way..

praying

it may..

make its way

to some Open Eyes,

an Open Mind,

floating through that line

of traffic behind him

tiny bits of knowledge

tiny bits of kindness

he fed it to them slowly

forcing them to notice

he hopes this

might work..

maybe they'll see it

maybe they'll read it

maybe we can change this

great American solution :

"united we sit" 

and do nothing

instead

All it takes Is one person to notice, understand and take heed to make it worthwhile. Every journey starts with one step. maybe we should all be making more of a stand, the world is only getting crazier and more divisive. the rich get richer etc.
Great write, I like the bold statement and how I can picture the writer in traffic, noticing, understanding and taking heed, by writing this. Now I've noticed and the cycle goes on.

A cry for revolution in a stagnating modern world.

We as humans have become so comfortable with our daily lives that we have become lazy in our thinking and in our actions. Sometimes it only takes one individual to question the status quo and spark a revolution. This man and his can, is attempting to do the same. Open our eyes. Make us think. Get us of our asses and changing the world for the better.
An inspiring piece of writing. A window on our stagnating, lazy world. It is time to get thinking again. Nice work.

My thoughts exactly. I really did see this piece of graffiti while I was sitting in traffic every morning on my way to work.. it always made me think and I knew I wanted to write about the powerful message but it took me a few years to decide on a back story and make up who may have tagged that whenever they did.. thank you for reading!
