From Super Recruiter

Quiet
I’m talkin

Uptown girl
in a material world
Would like if daddy were proud
but daddy you don’t know what
I mean

I tell one girl and she tells another
then another
I push the medal to the dregs
I know he wishes he was dead

Check it
Leadin the pack of
super recruiters
We press on in groups
On certain brownstones
On certain stoops

Rally in front of stores
Frequent the right bars
I don’t really have to
I got the world at large
If it won’t come to me
then it’s up for sale

Til I gotchu
I gotchu

Like a fiend
Mourn it
Sleep it
Bleed it
Stalk it
Eat it
Walk it

Uptown girl
in a material world
Would like if daddy were proud
but daddy you don’t know what
I mean
Seeping from my pores

It's addicted to
what I represent
Freedom from self
Freedom from the laughter
While I'm stuck on it's pleasure
Turn my nose up at it's past

Shoppin babies from
funky town
So sorry Daddy babeh
Hope you hang around

Extravagance in due time
Cause everything the eye can count…
is already mine

I like your style and the words are well chosin. I feel that you are asking a lot of the reader from outside the city but it runs well with great speed. Good work. "The Bard"
