Unzipping Silence

Unzipping Silence

A Poem by Amara'sPen
"

Can you keep silent for the sake of others?

"
Too many secrets I hold
Deep in my mind
Not getting old
No matter how I bind

Silence for me and you
But how can I do
The keeping of it
If the fire's getting lit

Telling the verity
Will set me free
Sorry but hiding thee
Is killing the inside of me

I am certain
That this silence
Must not remain
In the darkness

I'll now do this
No matter how you insist
This is the truth
That must be unzipped.

I like the deep thoughts and the proper ending.
"I am certain

Some secrets must be brought to life or you become part of the secret. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
