Three simple wordsA Story by AmandaHello! This is my first work. This isn't a story just some of my thoughts.
Today! Yesterday. Tomorrow?
Three simple words that everyone knows just some letter combinations, syllable, sounds, but does anyone know the true meaning? Everybody knows that there would not be today without yesterday and tomorrow without today. Easy, right? But does anyone know the true meaning of yesterday? Not even mentioning the meaning of tomorrow. We all have been tought to live for today, but does anyone know that in yesterday stays too much? Too much memories, too much people. No matter what it is, but too much. And then we realise, that we cannot get it back. Then we start to torment ourselfes thinking about how it could be, if we would have done things differently. We do not see how time flies by. To make it easier we start to belive in tomorrow, because there will be new people, new memories. But tomorrow does not come. And we wait, wait so patiently, because we are giving ourselfes a hope that everything will be fine again, we just need to wait for tomorrow, that is all. But more than today we cannot get. And then we get angry to everyone, to ourselfes. To yesterday. Yes, we accept that yesterday is guilty. Because of yesterday we need to wait tomorrow, right? And the cycle starts again. Yesterday. Tomorrow. Yesterday. Tomorrow... And that is how we run. And we run. What to do with this endless fight? How to get this hapiness everyone is talking about? Maybe in today? But today we have other worries to focuss on, don't we? Worries about yesterday, tomorrow, worries about everything except today. All of our lifes goes trying to catch yesterday, dreaming about tomorrow and forgeting about everything that we have today. Today! Yesterday. Tomorrow? Three simple words, letter combinations, right? But why do not they let us live peacefully? Why so many of us die unhappy? Unhappy because they have not met tomorrow and have not got yesterday back? Why? If these are only three simple words?
