That place.

That place.

A Poem by Amanda
"

This may seem almost more like a story... This is one of those poems where you just POUR every inch of your heart into it, yes, I do feel this away about "that place"...

"

Everyday I'm awakened to know nothing...

Nothing but the fact that I'm about to go to that place.

That place where happiness no longer seeks me.

Or, where I no longer can find happiness itself.

Everyday seems to get worse,

never better.

I try and try to keep my head up,

but nothing ever changes.

The feeling I get walking into that place.

The building of drama and many emotions,

that catch up to me daily.

It's hard to blow it off, because you get stuck in a pool of stream.

Everyday in that place, I dread.

Before I step foot into that place,

I always am reminded of how long of a day I know I'll have ahead of me.

The people,

they have authority above me.

For in that place, I'm considered nobody.

You'll often see,

the fakest smiles to ever exist.

But now I'm breaking, I'm tired of putting on the smile

that I no longer have the energy to give.

Most people would find this to be dramatic,

but the swarm of sadness I feel come over me,

take me over.

The feeling I get in that place, brings tears to my eyes.

I feel like broken glass, I feel I mean nothing, have no use there.

The amount of hatred I have for that place,

nobody will ever understand.

But don't unterestimate when I say,

how bad I hate that place.
