Fading away

FadiNg away into the dark.. No lights no sound.. It's all over

I'm fading away
The light in my eyes is gone
I'm tattered 
Torn beyond repair
I just want to disappear

I will when it's all over
When the minute hand ticks last
And the last one falls
I will tumble down the hill
Into the deep sea 
The dark sea

No one will know
No one will care
As I crash against the cliff 
Bruising everything
And fading away

I will sink towards the bottom
My breathing going away 
My lungs collapsing 
My world crashing
As I plunge into darkness
The bitter cold watery darkness

I'm scared
The darkness is not a nice place 
I can see the inky talons reaching for me 
I'm terrified of it
But I will not care

Because I'm fading away
My vision is going black
And my lungs burn
My heart is failing
And I'm sinking towards the bottom
Getting closer

The darkness is in reach
And I grab ahold of it
Not being scared anymore
Im ready to escape this place
The cold reality is too much
I'm fading into darkness

Nothing left of me
Nothing to tear at
Nothing to laugh at
Nothing but a broken heart 
And a lost soul

Time to go
Time to face the music
The time has come 
I'm fading away 
Like a song
That is softly ending

I must go 
The end is near
And the deed is done
The music is over
And I'm fading away
