The beastA Poem by AmandaPandaThe beast is hungry...Time to feed her...
Clawing at the walls
Breaking and shattering The beast is in pain And tears at the walls I scream in agony Sorrow builds inside Forcing me to cry and sob The tears are cold and foreign The pain is too much I reach for a blade Slicing and dicing my wrist Lines running in different directions Blood leaks Crimson red liquid It feeds the beast Numbing her pain I'm stuck crying As the beast feeds Draining me of life Should have tamed the beast But its too late The deed is done The beast is satisfied Until she gets hungry again Then its back to feeding And numbing Cutting And dying on the inside The beast must be satisfied Or the walls crumble And I am consumed by the darkness An inky black darkness
