Sorrow

Sorrow

A Poem by AmandaPanda
"

The memory still plays over and over in my head...I'm forever haunted by the day you jumped..

"
As day turned to night,
You jumped from the roof top,
City lights rushing by,
Gravity pulling you down,
Air leaving your lungs,
The ground growing closer,
You whispered "I love you like a sister"
As you splattered against the ground,

I screamed as my heart ripped in two,
My vision blurred,
My cheeks moistened,
Blood leaving my face,
Breathing hard,
My feet moving on their own,
I dashed towards your body.

I pushed past scared people,
I collapsed by you,
Crying my heart out,
Tears rolling down my cheek,
My breath heavy and shallow,
Sobs shaking my body,
I scream your name,
Voice raspy as I whispered "I love you like a brother"

Writing is something I love to do. When I'm not busy with school work, I'm writing poems or stories. It depends on my mood. But most of my poems are depressing thing so read at your own risk. I would .. more..
