Poetic Politics

Poetic Politics

A Poem by Amanda Turner
"

Frustration, toward governments exhausting warfare instead of diplomacy.

"

Burn the flag of freedom-

                         Set a liberated blaze.

Watch the sky light fire,

                         A blood red blinding haze.

Burn it all in effigy-

Careful, hell has the fury of scorn;

It's a solar flame watching heaven's gate

Combustible cluster reborn.

Creatures of consistancy, set a deeply disturbing pace-

When poetically thoughtless trends-

        bury beauty beneath the face.

You are amazing writer. Poem is very good. No wasted words. This world can upset a saint. I like the complete poem.
