Mr. Magee

Mr. Magee

A Poem by Amalie

Away, away in a boat on the sea
Lives a little old man by the name of Mr. Magee
He sits and he fishes all the day long
Sitting and singing his old sailor songs
Of Bonnie who lives out over the sea
Hoping someone would bring his Bonnie to thee
And of rowing boats
And gentle streams
Sings little contented
Mr. Magee

Great write! It's very rhythmic with a fabulous rhyme scheme. It seems to have a bit of a whimsical tone to it that I absolutely love. Fantastic job, I hope you keep writing :)
