I'll Meet You In Heaven

I'll Meet You In Heaven

A Poem by Brittney
"

I wrote this for my cousin Tony... He died...

"

I thought I'd know you forever,

But before I know it you're gone.

One Thing I don't understand

Is why you couldn't go on.

We never thought you'd be the first to go

Now we all stand corrected

To see the one that we all know,

the one that's least expected.

Many cried that mournful day

Of those the news was given.

Now I don't know what else to say

But I'll meet you in Heaven.

It is difficult when you lose a loved one. My heart goes out to you.

Your poem is lovely and heartfelt, Brittney. To lose a friend or close relative is a terrible pain, I know. I'm very sorry for your loss, and hope you will find healing in time. It is my sincere hope that you two will meet again beyond the shore.
