Untouchable

A cape of sadness,

 And a mask of pain;

Deem me a hero.

Solitude is my super human power.

No one can touch me,

I am invincible because there is nothing that can be taken from me.

I’ve lost it all already, or perhaps I was not so ready.

Not a soul took anything from me,

It was anything and everything that left me.

Unseen, unspoken, unheard, unwanted, unwilling, ungrateful, unbridled, unwhole, unpredictable, undeserving, unwinding,

Unrealistic hopes with an undeniable understanding.

My friends,

Love so that you may learn to cherish,

Cherish so that you may learn to worship,

Worship so that you may learn to honor,

Honor so that you may learn to sacrifice.

Sacrifice so that you can be untouchable.

Really awesome write. I'm not sure if you are familiar with the untouchables of India. I read about them a lot in my last term of school. This piece is widely applicable but also very specific. Very nicely done.
