Genesis 86:07

Genesis 86:07

A Poem by GypsyDanger

I had forgotten how beautiful this place was... how beautiful they-
Why are they so lovely?
Why does my heart pound?
In this crimson field of flowers... why are they-
Flashing lightning, thunder; that rumbling over the horizon, and they all burn beneath me.
Why are they not weeping?
And even so...
You will always belong to me.
Even...
if...
I...
kill...
you...

You will always belong to me.

I Love the imagery and the fatalistic ending...Powerful. I could be wrong, but you could be a Scorpio Woman. Possessive. Nevertheless, lovely poem.
