A wise man sees things as they really are, as they really appear, without prejudice, without judgement, without the influence of common opinion, but a truly enlightened man sees things exactly as he wishes to see them, exactly as he imagines them to be, and in seeing things like so, the enlightened man is gifted with more knowledge than the wise man could ever wish to aquire.
I like this very much indeed. Is this your work or a quotation? No flattery intended ;) I feel this is the way all art should be interpreted. An enlightened artist should always answer the question "what does it mean?" With ""whatever it means to you, that's what it means"" There should be no right or wrong answer. What the artist had in mind when he/she wrote shouldn't be important, or even revealed.
I couldn't agree with you more :) and yes, this is my work. Thanks for the review friend.

Whatever conclusions they formed regarding it's meaning now seem 'wrong' because the 'right' answer has been defined. It can even deter them from valuing their own meaning in future toward other work. It's sad. I remember when I was in school, having Shakespearean plays and sonnets defined because they were regarded 'classic' Fortunately, they didn't like Milton as much where I grew up :P

I've been passionate about writing since I was a child. Classic literature has always affected me more than anything else. Horror and cryptic writings are my specialties. more..
