The Path of the Story

A small peom I wrote one day when I couldn't think of anything else. Talks of how I veiw storytelling and reading.

From mind to pen,

From pen to paper.

This is how the story goes.

From letters to names,

From names to characters.

The author plants life in every seed he sows.

From page to book,

From book to life.

This is how the readers see.

From start to finish,

From finish to a new beginning.

Life could not make better sense to me.

aw, i like this, how the poem (and the process of creation) is almost cyclical in nature... you do a good job showing how one thing inexplicably leads to another, only to start over again at the very end... i definitely think reading and writing tend to feed off one another... :) that last line is awesome :D
