Beautiful Disaster

Beautiful Disaster

A Poem by Alysa

The coverage of darkness that covers her eyes,

A shade made of hair as she cries.

Tattered and torn as the dress she wears,

No one knows the pain she bears.

She cries out for what she has lost,

Knowing she would give anything to have it back, no matter the cost.

The blade goes across her wrist,

While the blood wells up when she makes a fist.

This girl has beauty beyond compare to other females,

The beauty that catches the attention of all males.

But inside her lies a disaster no one knows,

Because she is well informed that her emotions are her only foes.

Miss Beautiful Disaster, won't you come with me,

So I can take you away for an eternity?

Every girl is a beautiful disaster in her own way,

But that doesn't mean this is the way you have to stay.

You, my dear, in my thoughts, are perfection,

These thoughts you are having isn't a form of affection.

Oh, Miss Beautiful Disaster, you are beautiful in everyway,

So please don't throw your life away.

So perfect, in every way... Your expression of this person is heartfelt and very emotional. Like a peek inside a lost soul. Wow!

This poem is so beautiful! I already feel so much better reading it. The power, emotions, words and their impact is heartfelt. I like the last stanza where you're assuring the persona that she is more than just a shell.
This poem is a disaster in no way! It's totally B-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l.
