Epitome of Perfection

Epitome of Perfection

A Poem by Alysa

Staring into the depths of mysterious blue,

Her eyes so dark that they seem unlike any hue.

That sensual smile curls up so everyone can see those pearls,

So white and flawless that it makes heads twirl.

The dark waves of her hair are the seas of the night,

The crash and flow that causes excitement and fright.

Swaying her hips as her legs eat up distance,

All the stares that follow her with consistence.

Most would compare her to all those who are mighty,

But some would have to say she's Aphrodite.

In the human form of a goddess,

With the sparkle that covers her canvas.

Her voice, the sweetest song, running through minds like a chorus,

With the strength of the Taurus.

And she knows when she looks into the mirror's reflection,

That she's is, in fact, the epitome of perfection.

'The dark waves of her hair are the seas of the night,

The crash and flow that causes excitement and fright.'

I love how you captured the essence of beauty perfectly here. Women are pure beauty, and some people learn to unleash the ugliness in them. You lost me in this poem, I felt like I was swaying in a dance that seemed to end too suddenly. Alysa, my doll, you're an amazing writer. Damnit, we need to talk more! xD

Sounds like quite the beauty to me. Excellent job with your descriptions, the woman who you vividly portrayed here is one who to some exists only in the world of dreams. Truly, the woman and the way you wrote this poem, are epitomes of perfection.
