Childs play.

Childs play.

A Poem by Aly

I dressed all pretty for you today,
I wanted to make you like me.
And then I went out to play,
All my clothes got dirty.

A cried for a long time,
Because you didn’t see my nice clothes.
I wanted you all mine,
But you wont like me anymore.

I tried to make you a mudpie,
But I left it in too long.
I didn’t want to cry,
But I cried anyway.

You came over for a play that night,
And complimented my clothes.
Even though they were once white.
I think you like me now.

Awe, that's wonderfully sweetly sad... If that made sense. Ah, the perspective from a child is always an interesting one to write about indeed. Poor mudpie :( 100/100!
