Forever Digging

Forever Digging

A Poem by alvarie

Forever digging

I fall into a pit of black and despair with red as fire burning through me, I climb back out and find my way back but the hole grew deeper still, I slip and fall and get back up but they're forever digging, I think it's at its end, though they're forever digging now I sit a bottoms edge and far from any light they've dug through China, light, and life itself and all there is, is black, there is no climbing out there is no safe, there is no color, there is no world and they're still forever digging.

thank you. Alvarie
