The wind screams its bluesy melody
Trying harder, desperately. The ocean crashes against the shore Hoping to once again be pure. The trees let themselves be moved Hoping their lives will be improved. The people wander through the streets Chanting and fighting despite the heat. My restless heart beats slower and slower As my hopes sink lower. You stand there right in front of me Bringing back the memories.
