Some Great TruthA Poem by Kasey JonesThis is a revised and hopefully much better version of a poem I wrote for 7th grade English using words cut out newspaper headlines. I didn't like the original version since I had to dumb it down.Students work to move a quitting city. Jazz is lost And openly mourned. Monsters roam the streets. They aim to terrify. Petrify. Glorify, justify. Art is charged with energy To catch a grand eye. We are ready. I can feel it in the air. The stage is set. Upgrade to the desensitized life. Feel the transformation. Let the changes control you. Introducing: the way it is.
