A Poem by Kasey Jones
"

Formerly known as 'Leave Me Alone' and/or 'Integrity'.

"
Oh, integrity means so much to me,
When honesty fades into debris,
When truth is as rare as a fossil,
And almost nobody is docile.

Make my world right again.
I don't want more patrolmen
Dutifully protecting my heart.

Please don't tell lies.
I need to stabilize
My life. It won't take all night,
Now just turn off the flashlight,
Leave me alone, step aside.
Give me plenty of time to decide.

I think this poem comes to a premature end actually. The rhyme scheme was good as was the rhythm. In the first stanza, "fades" doesn't seem like the right word. Maybe "falls" or "crumbles"

I really like this, and the rhyme scheme flowed really well. I have no idea what to change the title to... sorry I've been no help at all... Anyways good poem :D
