Best Described As Love

Best Described As Love

A Poem by Kasey Jones

The silence speaks volumes,
Under billowing plumes
Trapping quiet, still air.

Across from me sits you,
Behind me, the water so blue.
Spongy dirt supports our world.

The wind blows through your hair,
And I can't help but stare
At the dark brown curls fluttering.

Your eyes, best described as greenish gray,
Make my worries crumble and decay.
I feel safe when I'm with you.

The first stanza is quite lyrical and paints a fantastic picture. Too bad it's an exageration (not for the piece which is great but for you)

Yes, Jong, just a crush. He's a total jerk, but I've known him my whole life and he's cute...

This poem is an extreme exaggeration of a typical situation.
